Overview

Whether you receive a refund depends on three factors: (a) the cancellation policy tier of the listing, (b) when you cancel relative to your check-in date, and (c) whether payment has already settled with the host.

Payment gateway fees charged by Cashfree are never refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. This is a fee retained by the payment processor, not Agrekoo.

Refunds are always returned to the original payment method. Once Agrekoo initiates the refund, please allow 5–7 business days for the amount to appear in your account.

Cancellation tiers

Each listing carries one of three cancellation tiers set by the host:

Flexible
  • ✓ 100% refund if cancelled ≥24h before check-in
  • ✓ 50% refund if cancelled <24h before check-in
ModerateDefault
  • ✓ 100% refund if cancelled ≥5 days before check-in
  • ✓ 50% refund if cancelled 1–5 days before
  • ✗ No refund if cancelled <24h before
Strict
  • ✓ 50% refund if cancelled ≥14 days before check-in
  • ✗ No refund if cancelled <14 days before

Host or admin cancellation

If Agrekoo or the host cancels your booking:

  • ✓100% refund of the total amount paid
  • ✓₹200 platform credit added to your account
  • ✓Applies regardless of cancellation timing

Non-refundable items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Payment gateway processing fees (charged by Cashfree, not Agrekoo)
  • Bookings cancelled after the applicable free-cancellation window has closed
  • No-shows — guest does not arrive without cancelling the booking
  • Partial stays — checked out early before the booked end date

How to request a refund

To cancel a booking and trigger an eligible refund:

  1. Go to My Bookings → Booking Detail → Cancel Booking
  2. The eligible refund amount is auto-calculated based on the listing's cancellation policy and current timing
  3. If you cancel within the free-cancellation window, the refund is initiated automatically within 1 business day

For disputes or special circumstances, contact support@agrekoo.com. Manual refunds that require reclaiming funds from the host take 5–7 business days after the host amount is recovered.
