Platform & intermediary status
Agrekoo is an intermediary marketplace that lists farm stays on behalf of independent hosts. Agrekoo is not a hospitality service provider and does not own or operate any of the properties listed. By using Agrekoo, guests contract directly with hosts for accommodation services.
Agrekoo operates as an Electronic Commerce Operator (ECO) under Section 52 of the CGST Act and collects Tax Collected at Source (TCS) on applicable transactions.
Bookings & confirmation
All bookings are subject to admin confirmation. A booking is not confirmed until you receive an explicit confirmation notification from Agrekoo.
Platform fees (currently 10% of listing price) are disclosed at checkout. GST is applied to the platform fee component as required by law. Payment processing is handled via Cashfree Payments — a licensed payment aggregator.
Our booking system is idempotent: submitting a duplicate booking request returns the existing booking record without creating a double charge.
Cancellation policy
Each listing carries one of three cancellation tiers set by the host:
- ✓ 100% refund if cancelled ≥24h before check-in
- ✓ 50% refund if cancelled <24h before check-in
- ✓ 100% refund if cancelled ≥5 days before check-in
- ✓ 50% refund if cancelled 1–5 days before
- ✗ No refund if cancelled <24h before
- ✓ 50% refund if cancelled ≥14 days before check-in
- ✗ No refund if cancelled <14 days before
Payment gateway fees are non-refundable in all cases. If Agrekoo or the host cancels your booking, you receive a 100% refund plus ₹200 platform credit.
Prohibited conduct
The following conduct is prohibited on the Agrekoo platform:
- Direct contact with hosts before a booking is confirmed — all communication must occur through the Agrekoo platform
- Fraudulent, false, or speculative bookings
- Misrepresentation of guest count or intended use of the property
- Off-platform payment arrangements that circumvent Agrekoo's payment system
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any active bookings.
Liability limitation
Agrekoo acts solely as an intermediary and is not liable for: property condition, host conduct, force majeure events, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.
Agrekoo's maximum aggregate liability to you in connection with any booking is limited to the total booking fee paid by you for that booking.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes arising from your use of Agrekoo shall be subject to arbitration seated in Pune under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The courts in Pune shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any matters not resolved by arbitration.
